To summarise strip drains are a fantastic addition to a bathroom that requires a high degree of drainage. It’s best to use them in wet rooms or walk-in showers when you often have large tiles and require maximum fall to one center. If you have a 900mm x 900mm shower and a corner screen hinged door I would never recommend them as for the work required and the expense to buy them it is in my opinion not needed.
Last Tip – Do not and I say do not lose the hook tool that comes with them as it is the best thing to remove the grate.
